All I do is keep having these amazingly strange dreams. I am experiencing really intensely visual dreams where I am inside famous old paintings, usually bruegel paintings. Typically I am alone, without all the characters and can investigate the scenery. I can pick up the paint and stick my hands under it or go inside buildings in the painting. I also have had dreams about making painting where the paint is so real it becomes something else if you touch it. For instance the patchwork field in the distance ( of a hypothetical painting I made in that dream) resembles a weaving. When you touch it, it actually becomes a weaving of paint and I could pick up the warp of gooey red oil. Is this strange? I try to talk to certain people about this and they never have the same experiences. Does anyone else have really visually stimulating dreams?

so, i had all break to write my proposal for a $15,000 grant. every time i start my heart skips and i panic so i do a million other things ( like write this) instead of writing my proposal. i have already written it once to get accepted through tyler, but i have to rewrite it. blah. this really should not be as painful as it is. i should be really excited. i have never procrastinated one thing for so long... ever. 20 page papers on contemporary ceramics are easier than this 750 word proposal. on second thought, how difficult and stressful is it to convince a committee to give you 15000 dollars in only 750 words. shit.
